Half-Day Conference: Xiri u Lmenti Onlajn - X'Esperjenza Ghandek?
For the occasion of the World Consumer Rights Day 2016, the Office for Consumer Affairs within the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority, in collaboration with the Ministry for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties, is organising a half day conference entitled Xiri u lmenti onlajn - X'esperjenza ghandek?
The main objective of this conference is to discuss the advantages and challenges that both businesses and consumers face when they conclude contracts of sale online. The conference will also discuss the role of social media as a tool used by consumers to complain about products and services purchased which have resulted problematic.
The half-day conference will be held on Friday 1 April 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta. It will be addressed by Hon. Helena Dalli, Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties and other distinguished speakers from the MCCAA, ECC Malta, MCA, MEUSAC, GRTU, Malta Enterprise, the Facebook group 'Are You Being Served', and the local Consumers Associations.
The general public, traders and consumers are invited to attend. Attendance is free of charge.
