The MCCAA will be organising Malta's first digital conference for World Standards Day, which will be celebrated on 14th October. 

Through World Standards Day, the members of IEC, ISO and ITU pay tribute to the collaborative efforts of the thousands of experts worldwide who develop the voluntary technical agreements that are published as International Standards.

The theme of the conference is "Protecting the Planet with Standards" and will include a message from the Secretary General of the International Standards Organisation, a panel discussion from experts and industry, and messages from the MCCAA Young Sustainability Ambassadors. The Young Ambassadors were selected following a competition between children attending primary and secondary education.
