In terms of regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations, 2002 published in Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between Thermoplastics Ltd (Marsa) and D-Square Ltd (Paola) was filed on Monday, 29 August 2022.

The nature of the concentration is an acquisition of sole control by Thermoplastics Ltd of the injection mould operation business of the D-Square Ltd.

Thermoplastics Ltd is a company that is involved in Injection Moulding, which is the production of plastic parts in large volumes. The company typically uses a mass production process to manufacture thousands of identical items. D-Square Ltd is an Injection Moulding company that provides services in a wide range of plastic materials to a diverse client base that includes the automotive industry, cosmetics packaging, toys and electronics manufacturing.  

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written objections on this notified concentration within seven days following publication of this notice at the following address:
