In terms of regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations, 2002 published in Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between Neofarma Pharmaceutical Ltd (Qormi), Neofarma Sales and Marketing (Qormi), Pharmabart Ltd (Qormi) and MGC Distributors Limited (Attard) was filed on Thursday, 29 February 2024.

The nature of the concentration is a Joint Venture between Neofarma Pharmaceutical Ltd, Neofarma Sales and Marketing, Pharmabart Ltd and MGC Distributors Limited.

Neofarma Pharmacautical Ltd purchases, imports, exports and distributes pharmaceuticals supplies, vitamins, food supplements and medical devices.

Neofarma Sales and Marketing purchases, imports, exports, sells and distributes toiletries, perfumes, vitamins and food supplements.

Pharmabart Ltd imports, exports, and distributes pharmaceuticals, toiletries and medical devices.

MGC Distributors Limited imports, exports and distributes toiletries, vitamins, food supplements and hygienic products.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written objections on this notified concentration within seven days following publication of this notice at the following address:
